    Mataa toki. Adze blade. Mataa toki are a multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. This mataa toki is made from fasua (clam shell). It is a smaller mataa toki, cut from a larger section of fasua. The majority of this toki has been smoothed and polished, with just a small section of the natural fasua striations evident by the butt and poll. The cutting edge is curved and sharp with a moderately steep bevel.
