    Most of this book originally appeared in The Press, the first section from 7 June to 12 July 1924. An excellent outline history of the occupation and ownership of the north and mid-Canterbury runs, and in its completed form the standard reference source still unmatched for any other area--Bagnall A22 Folded map in rear pocket. Inscription: J.C. Andersen from the author. Letters between Andersen and Acland pasted in.
