New Zealand troopship magazine. Magazine of troops on board H.M.N.Z.T No. 82, 'Pakeha'. As transport no. 82 the "Pakeha" together with the "Devon" no. 81 carried the 24th Reinforcements, departing New Zealand 14 April 1917 and arriving Plymouth 28 July 1917. O.C. Troops was Major J. Murphy and Ship's Master Commander R.S. Lewis. H.M.T. "Pakeha" was completed at Belfast, August, 1910, by Messrs. Harland & Wolff, for Shaw, Saville, & Albion Co., Ltd, 10,00 tons.
