    The Almanach Hachette began with issue for 1893 and ceased with no. 79 (1972). Cover title: Almanach Hachette 1917. On spine: 1917. "L'edition complete ne paraitra pas cette annee." Includes advertising. Decorative endpapers and coloured second cover. AWMM copy also includes [4] page loose pamphlet featuring two letters entitled 'A message for the hour (from the man in the ranks) and 'Saved in the firing line (another letter from a young soldier)'. Housed in envelope.
