    Exhibition created in partnership with the British Museum and National Museum of Scotland of objects collected in Ouvea and Lifou (Loyalty Islands), between 1878 and 1920 by James and Emma Hadfield of the London Missionary Society. The objects were gifted to the Musee de Nouvelle-Caledonie in 2009 by the couple's grandson, Douglas Hadfield.

    The exhibition also includes objects on loan from the British Museum and the National Museum of Scotland, and numerous photographs taken by the couple.
