Message of goodwill to the Maori people, dated London, 2 August 1882, from twenty-one prominent Bishops, Members of Parliament, and Merchants, on the occasion of the return of Wiremu Reweti Parore, Hakena Parore, and Hirini Taiwhanga following their visit to England, proposing that an Association be formed in London to manage the sale of land in New Zealand on behalf of the Maori people and non Maori shareholders.
