    Secret order giving the day and hour for the commencement of the attack by the New Zealand Division for the Battle of Passchendaele, issued by Divisional Headquarters on 3 October 1917. Signed by Captain [L.A. Newnham]. A hand-written note accompanying this item claims that the order was shown only to unit commanders who were to memorise it and then sign it. No copies were permitted.
