    Photolithographed facsimile of two 1840 proclamations, issued by Lieutenant-Governor William Hobson on 30 January and 23 May 1840 respectively, reproduced by the 'New Zealand Herald' on 29 January 1890 (Supplement page 4).

    The supplement also notes that the original proclamations by Hobson are held by the Auckland Institute & Museum [See Ref. nos. MS-413 and MS-414 for further details.]
