Gordon Osmond - Papers

documentary heritage
  • Description

Postcard, of Anzacs in France 'Bringing up a gun' to 'Mrs C.H. Osmond' from Gordon Osmond, dated 12 February 1917, while on leave in France. (1 leaf)

An extract from the text reads as follows:

"All leave to England has been cut out so my turn won’t come for ages. It’s a darned nuisance I am so disappointed. I see we are advancing again at the Somme so they are evidently starting early this year. I do hope we don’t go there."
