    Series of eight press cuttings, dated 10 and 13 July, and 2-4, 7 and 25 October 1946, concerning Cornwall Park, Auckland, taken from the 'New Zealand Herald' and 'Auckland Star' newspapers, regarding the removal of a large Moreton Bay fig tree and construction of a car park near the tea kiosk; temporary closure of the southern roadway section of the park for maintenance tasks; removal and replacement of vandalised native trees; refurbishment of an Army hut constructed in the park during the Second World War; and the return by the Army Department of Puriri Drive back to the Cornwall Park trustees.
