    Approximately 1000 letters and documents relating to the Church in New Zealand from 1843 to 1886. Much of the material is concerned with individual parishes in the Auckland Province, but there are also many letters to and from the Church Missionary Society in London.

    Volume 1 -- Typed transcripts of letters and documents from and concerning the Church Missionary Society, 1853 - 1884. (paged 1-303) [Note: Originals held in main MS-60 series, Folders 99-103]

    Volume 2 -- Diocese of Auckland, Quarterly Embertide letters, June 1942 - 21 November 1960.

    Box 15, Folder 108:

    Item 1 -- Letters from and concerning the Maori chiefs who visited England in 1864.

    Item 2 -- Letter in Maori from Reihana Taukawau, and statement by him, translated by Mrs Colenso.

    Item 3 -- Translation of letter from (Kamariera) Te Wharepapa "To Miss Selwyn" and all the relations of the Bishop of New Zealand.

    Item 4 -- Letter from C.J. Doratea Weale to Bishop Selwyn.

    Item 5 -- Letter from T. Clement Sneyd Mynnersley.
