documentary heritage
  • Description

Informing Mrs Daldy that Mrs Hills request for the National Council of Women's meeting to be held at Nelson had been abandoned. Mrs Sievwright explains the decision was made - after Mses Sheppard, Williamson, Atkinson, Hill, and Wells all wrote that they could not attend, and that a meeting of Executive members only was to be be held that year.

Other business, such as Mrs Sheppards departure, the establishment of a local council by Mrs Gray, Mrs Hill becoming council Treasurer, the Disabilities Bill, and sending a delegate to the International Council meeting in Dresden are also discussed.

Mrs Sievwright also wrote of going to Napier in order to get dentures.
