    Regarding Edward Marsh Williams poor health and his circumstances in Herne Bay, at the mouth of the river Thames. Lydia goes on to describe the gifts she sent to New Zealand, including blankets and pinafores. Finally she makes mention of the progress of Janes Maori school in New Zealand.

    Lydia Marsh (nee Williams - 1788-1859) was the daughter of Thomas Williams and Mary Marsh. In 1813, she married Edward Gerrard Marsh, who is said to have been the spiritual adviser of the Williams Family.
