    Regarding the week long meeting of the Committee, which went ahead despite the matter of the Land Question. Of the matters discussed, Williams report to his wife that it was decided that their son Samuel would move to Otaki indefinitely, and that the recently ordained Mr Tudor would join them at Turanga. He also confirms that given the state of St John College their son Leonard would go to England to finish his education, perhaps alongside Henry Williams Jnr.
