  • Description

Transcription - "It affords me very great pleasure to give my testimony in favour of Mr A.G. Purchas. When a student at Guy's Hospital he was distinguished for his attentive pursuit of the various objects connected with his profession and I have no hesitation in stating it as my belief that he will be found in every respect qualified to discharge the duties, which must necessarily devolve upon the house surgeon of a County Hospital or Infirmary."
