    Contains special reference to the following: (A) The whole process of selecting and training for temporary acting commissions under Scheme B, (B) Involvement with the Pedestal Malta Convoy, August, 1942, and the sinking of HMS 'Curacoa' after collision with the 'Queen Mary', and (C) The experience as an officer on a former American four-funnel destroyer.
