    Certificate (28 x 21 cm) dated Tuesday, 17 October 1916, from Parliament Buildings, Wellington, issuing an appeal to the New Zealand public for charitable aid to hospitals. Certificate is signed by the Governor General, His Excellency Lord Liverpool; the prime minister W.F. Massey and 12 other government ministers ' M. Pomare, Arthur M. Myers, W. Fraser, J.A. Hanan, J. Allen, G.W. Russell, Robert McNab and so on. Artwork is by illuminator C. Palmer.
