Women's Suffrage Centenary. Auckland Coordinating Committee was formed in February 1992 with representatives from the major womens' organisations in the Auckland to plan and coordinate various activities to celebrate Women's Suffrage 1993. The Committee was chaired by Mrs Marie Taylor, National President of YWCA who was chiefly responsible for the collation of the collection.
The development of the Auckland War Memorial Museum online collection is an ongoing process; updates, new images and records are added weekly. In some cases, records have yet to be confirmed by Museum staff, and there could be mistakes or omissions in the information provided.
