Witnessed by Dugald Shaw and Mary Potts, both of Oamaru, and Joanne Harper, of Nelson. Certified by Alexander B. Todd, Officiating Minister.

    The following marriage notice appeared in the Nelson Examiner and New Zealand Chronicle: "On the 21st April, at Oamaru, by the Rev. A. B. Todd, Frank, second son of Mr. Charles John Hubbard, to Marion Joanna Jamima Mair, adopted daughter of Mr. William J. Harper, of Nelson."
