    Volume (30 cm) entitled "Escape from Crete : One Soldiers Story" by Crete veteran, 2nd Lieutenant Harry Clifton ('Clif') Poole, MM, of 20 Battalion, June 2009 (2nd edition). (paged 1-42) Written retrospectively, Poole describes his time spent serving with 20 Battalion during World War II and his capture and eventual escape from the prisoner-of-war camp, established near Galatas and Canea, on Crete in 1941.
