    Contains photocopied material. Daily entries containing a collection of texts, musings, reflections and recollections. The diary begins on Wednesday, 15 February [1826], the day the 'Herald' sailed, carrying Henry Williams to Sydney, Australia.

    [Note: Diary has year 1824 crossed out and 1825 substituted, but it should be 1826 as the building of 'Herald' was not completed until 1826] Includes a photocopied article on the diary by Derric Vincent, published in the 'Star Weekender', Saturday, 25 June 1977, and copies of two letters (2 & 17 July 1995) from Stewart Hindmarsh to Pamela Gillespie regarding the provenance of the diary.
