    Print published in "Illustrations of missionary scenes, an offering to youth" Volume 1, page 12, plate 10 (verified in Ellis).

    Print has Upokia written on it which is the name of a small village on the Wanganui River.

    Poumahara means "memory post" - a tradition of the Wanganui region was to stand the canoe of the chief in the ground as a memorial to him.
