    Depositor Ross Martin volunteered at the museum with curator Gordon Maitland. Ross’ mother, Flora Edna Martin (nee Ballard, born 1911) has written attributions to Winifred Bassett (died 1960), and Charles William Foster (USA c 1843 - Onehunga 1920). Flora was Bassett’s neighbour, and witnessed her 1959 will. First offered to regional museums, the remainder has been returned to the Martins.
