    Sail number: Y8 - Challenge (Manukau)

    14 foot square bilge class, usually with a bowsprit. Early ones were gaff rigged but by 1950 almost all were bermudan rigged. Many later ones were snub-nosed skimmers. The most numerous of the three 14-foot classes.
