  • Description

Looking down Shortland Street towards the Queen Street intersection. There are pedestrians standing outside the Gothic style windows of the Post Office, reading signs/newspaper headlines against the exterior wall. The Post Office was demolished in 1938 to create Jean Batten Place which links Shortland Street to Fort Street.
