Agnes Mary Buckley 63397 (1908? - 1944) was a nurse who joined the staff of Wanganui Hospital as a probationer in 1926. After qualifying she left in 1931 on transfer to Taihape were she served as staff nurse and later night sister. She enlisted and joined the New Zealand Army Nursing Service in WW2, and died from sickness in 1944. Sister Buckley was the first death in the New Zealand Army Nursing Service.
