    Loss at top right edge of the photograph and fold in bottom right corner of photograph. Photograph curling inwards towards gelatin layer. Description handwritten in pencil on verso: "Group takenat the official opening on Saturday of the Pukekohe Golf Club's new [courses]. The club has this season [?] a new course on the Eastern outskirts of the town.

    It [?] nine holes, and was descroibed by representative visiting players after Saturday's play as being a splendid course, with good [?] features in the form of natural bunkers. There was an attendance of about 150 persons at the opening ceremony. Photo by A.B. Perkins, Pukekohe.
