    Along edge of Heathcote River with other garden
    discards. Erect, up to 1 m. Capitula rayed, bright
    yellow: (HDW). Stems pinkish, leaves bluish green,
    rather fleshy, rays and disc yellow, not extensively
    rhizomatous, lower leaves more or less amplexicaul
    -25 cm long, upper -5 cm. Lower inflorescence
    branches secund: (CJW).
