    East side road, ponded area with flowing water,
    occupies c.200 x 3-15 m growing in 30-50 cm of water
    and standing c.1 m above water. Floating sud of
    ›4Paspalum distichum›5 and ›4Sagittaria›5; margin is
    mown lawn. Petals cream with dark red centre,
    petals curved upwards, leaves starting to turn
    yellow (colder weather); whorls of female flowers;
    plants up to 130 cm tall in the open and 2 m tall
    when amongst raupo. Specimen over 2 sheets (AK
    227385 & AK 227386). DUPLICATE SENT TO: CHR
