? ISOLECTOTYPE of Carmichaelia violacea Kirk. Lectotype is WELT 26279, cited by Heenan in N.Z. J. Bot. 33:451 (1995). This specimen not cited as isolectotype by Heenan because it lacks a date and altitude, unlike the isolectotypes cited (P B Heenan pers. comm. March 1997). Original det. by TFC: "Carmichaelia petriei Kirk var. (Type of C. violacea Kirk)". Nom. rev. of Carmichaelia violacea Kirk August 1996.
