HOLOTYPE of Myrsine argentea Heenan & de Lange, cited in N.Z. J. Bot. 36:382 (1998). Original det.: "Myrsine "Burnett". A male specimen 3 m tall, collected near road to Mount Burnett summit. Flowers yellow. On dolomite rock outcrop amongst scrub".
