Corticolous on Leptospermum scoparium growing on damp ground, in low scrub with Halocarpus biformis. Growing with Lepicolea attenuata, Clasmatocolea strongylophylla, Frullania ptychantha, Frullania sp., Radula physoloba, Radula multiamentula, Goebeliella cornigera, Drepanolejeunea aucklandica. Voucher for SEM of spores and other structures in mamr's masters thesis.
