Field Collection Notes
Collected as "decumbent form, amongst windswept Coprosma rhamnoids, Geniostoma ligustrifolium and Leucopogon" (as per collectors notes). Flat forms such as these are common in exposed places on the island but in cultivation they revert to an erect habit. A possibly distinct species = Kunzea "Three Kings", intermediate between K. ericoides var. linearis and K. "latifolia" but differing in floral and leaf characters. Neither K. ericoides var. linearis or K. "latifolia" grow on these islands.
