Occasional in tall primary forest. 8 m tall 10 cm dbh; bark rather soft, pale, shed in small irregular flakes, red below; no flowers or fruit. Sapling foliage minutely patent - pubescent. Collection spread over 2 sheets (AK 293543 & AK 293544).
