Unusual Cordyline, no. 4; ca.8.0m tall; 11.7cm dbh; bark - hard, smooth to touch and dark brown; flowering. Steep slope, aspect 215 degrees. Associated spp.: kanuka, mimgimimgi, Pseudopanax arboreus, matipo, Coprosma arborea, C. robusta, rangiora, hangihangi, Gahnia setifolia, Pittosporum eugenioides, ponga, lacebark, tanekaha, bracken, rewarewa & kiokio. Midribs pink
