Field Collection Notes
On flat river terrace (stoney loam) high above river. Area heavily grazed by sheep, area is c.50% pasture, 50% scattered groves of native trees and shrubs. Growing under Alectryon excelsus in moderate shade with sparse Hydrocotyle elongata, Hydrocotyle microphylla, Oxalis exilis, Poa annua, Cardamine debilis. Around 8 plants counted around bases of Alectryon excelsus trees. Live plants gathered and sent to P de Lange.
