very dry, rocky; with tussock; exposed; common. Habit: creeping to erect, low herb; leaves dull green-red; secondary veins not visible; leaves in crowded rows up stem; flowers erect; subsessile ovaries, petals white, flowers ~6mm x 6mm long; sepals 5mm ong, not keeled; capsule reddish, ~1cm long.
