    c.fr. setae strongly papillose, operculum with short erect beak. steam leaves cells conspicuous - J E Beever, Feb 2017. 3rd collection made for progress of capsule maturity for JE Beever. Also noted 2 more fertile colonies, 1 just 5m from this site, also under mahoe. The 2nd outside the fenced area c.25m away - under mature pines, relatively open. Species is abundant in vicinity.
