Uncommon - corticolous on the lower trunk of Phyllocladus aff. trichomanoides in a small Phyllocladus dominated "forest" on stable, serpentinite talus. Plants golden yellow when fresh, sparsely branched. Often found admixed with a fine, red, wispy Frullania (see AK 306667).
