On shaded serpentinite boulder lying in deeply entrenched portion of stream (site would be submerged during heavy rain). Canopy dense - mostly pohutukawa / houpara / tanekaha. Plants dark brown-green when fresh. Determination confirmed: J. E. Braggins 21 December 2010.
