    Uncommon. Occasional plants found growing amongst Cyperus insularis, especially at burrow entrances. Also seen in some ravine and gully systems. Leaves typically very hairy, glaucescent flushed pink, stems and petioles covered in retrorse - patent - antrorse often curled hairs. Stipules variable but mostly large, truncate though very hairy. No fruiting material seen.
