Field Collection Notes
Most commonly found in damp areas such as dips, hollows and gullies. There are lots of plants usually in groups. It hasn't invaded the bush remnant. Now that cattle have been removed following the fire in Whitireia last February , there is no contrl of the foliage by cattle and it will produce a lot more seed, however it may eventuaklly be outcompeted for light as other areas of the park which have had no grazing for 7 years are gradually regenerating with manuka, tauhinu and Coprosma propinqua.
