Behind grass roadside verge, in front of coastal shrub band. Large shrub 2-3 m high with ultimate branches ± pendulous. Leaves grey-green beneath. Flowers fragrant. Petals white, 1.9-2 cm long, i.e. wings & standard, latter eventually reflexing & revolute; keel enfolded by wings. Abundant along road.
