Field Collection Notes
Local high point on a'a lava, in an old black-backed gull nest. Herbaceous 'mat' c.80cm across surrounded by bare lava. Cardamine very common, white flowers and exploding seed capsules; stems glabrous. Growing with Oxalis pes-caprae, Fumaria muralis, Poa annua, Crassula decumbens, Geranium ? purpureum (sterile), and a few Euphorbia peplus. Cardamine common on other old gull nests as well.
