Field Collection Notes
A 'mat' of virtually pure the oxalis covering c.10 x 4m, back of rocky beach, presumed to be a black-backed gull nesting area; some of the oxalis plants had been plucked out (this specimen) by the gulls - is this how it is spread? Many plants in flower, all had red-tipped sepals; this oxalis very common here in association with the gull nests. A large clump of Cape weed also present
