    Cordyline "nigra". 4 leaves + primary branch from inflorescence. Tepals dark purple. ISSC 220 v. deep p, darker at bud tip, lighter to base. 3 leaves sent c.1 week earlier to John Conran (Adelaide). Cultivated. Commercial source in Auckland. Probably eventually ex Keith Boyer of Henderson + Ex Papua New Guinea. Leaves dark green margin purple. Tepals x equal length.
