  • Field Collection Notes
Collected in the wild in Nov 2015 (and potted up to flower) from a grassy area at the back of a sheltered sandy beach a few metres from the high tide mark. Native vegetation nearby included manuka, pohutukawa and various broadleaf spp with scattered ferns. Several plants at the site, perhaps due to layering. I’ve seen others at the tip of the peninsula on clay soils in low manuka, about 50m above a rocky shore. Flowers mauve
