Locally abundant along clay roadside for c.15m forming pure stands to 40cm high. No ray florets. Spent heads on elongated peduncle which hangs down. On other side of road is dense synedrella nodiflora, which is an abundant weed all up and down this (and many other) roads. Duplicate sent to: WELT
