    Short, spreading, clump-forming growth habit. Lvs dark green, arching, growing to ht of 47cm. Dk green glossy upper, brighter green underside with prominent veins. Fine short silver hairs on upperside. Flowerhead an erect spike of vivid purple closely clustered flowers, reaching just above lvs. Just finishing flowering.
    Growing in cultivated garden. Semi-shady, sheltered.
