  • Field Collection Notes
    Small two trunked tree growing up through foliage of another tree. Ht ca 3m. Bark light brown. Much dead wood. Tree not thriving. Leaves dark green, soft, smooth upper, paler under, dull. Leaves opposite. Flowers pure white in dense terminal, conical panicles. Very sweetly scented. Flowers have many layers of curved petals with no visible reproductive parts.
    Sheltered basin - on Southern edge of open forest. Small tree growing up beneath Acer palmatum.
